Welcome to NOYC, located in New Orleans’ historic West End overlooking the marinas of Lake Pontchartrain. Since 1949, we have been a volunteer-driven club dedicated to the sport of yacht racing, marine safety, and seamanship. Whether you are a lifelong sailor, a transient cruiser looking for a friendly port, or someone looking to learn the ropes, you are always welcome here.

A Club Built on Comradeship
NOYC is one of the largest clubs in the Gulf Yachting Association, with a competitive pedigree that includes national, international, and Olympic champions. But we are best known for our casual attitude and welcoming atmosphere — live music on Wednesdays after racing, Friday happy hours, and a harbor view that never gets old.
